....the black bear, yesterday. She and Hope have been getting their den ready to occupy, it seems. I thought this was a particularly wonderful picture of her. I've been fascinated and mystified about the process of hibernation and am going to be interested to see if/when there's a den cam to view. We've all been keeping our fingers crossed, trusting that she and her daughter Hope would den together and everything would be safe and cozy.
